Clinical Coordinator, 1 yr med office exp, Bachelor's degree

An exciting opportunity for a clinical coordinator to join an expanding specialized team within a large healthcare system in San Antonio, Texas. The candidate will work collaboratively with our cross-functional team to coordinate care for patients with various chronic illnesses.

We are interested in employing a highly motivated, detail-oriented, well-organized individual to join our expanding team of medical providers, pharmacists, and clinical coordinators. Candidate must possess the ability to work well on a team and be comfortable engaging with medical providers, pharmacists, other medical staff, and patients. Strong customer service and computer skills a must.

Schedule is full-time weekdays and is office-based. Candidate must be able to reliably commute to our San Antonio office.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Work closely with medical providers and pharmacy teams to ensure prior authorizations for specialty medications are processed efficiently
• Manage the tracking and collection of clinical data from multiple sources
• Maintain accurate patient status tracking through HIPAA compliant electronic databases
• Respond to phone calls from patients, medical providers, and other medical staff members
• Conduct patient outreach calls

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree (required)
• Minimum of 1 year medical practice experience (required)
• Experience with prior authorization process (preferred)
