About the Role

We are a small, private occupational and preventive medicine practice located in Union County, NC, seeking a part-time Clinical Coordinator. This role is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates in health-related fields (e.g., nursing, pre-med, pharmacy, physical therapy) who are looking to gain hands-on clinical and administrative experience.

This position is ideal for someone with limited clinical experience who is a quick learner, compassionate, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care Support

• Assist with patient registration and intake
• Answer patient questions regarding services and scheduling
• Obtain vital signs and perform vision screenings
• Prepare patients for evaluations
• Serve as a chaperone during exams when requested
• Opportunity for clinical trial patient recruitment

Clinic Operations

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical areas
• Order and manage clinic supplies

Administrative Duties

• Perform data entry and basic data extraction
• Document patient health history and medications
• Assist with care coordination and resource distribution
• Organize and maintain patient charts and records

Schedule

• Part time hours with availability of a minimum 3 days per week
• Availability during business hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Minimum commitment of 1 year

Qualifications

Required:

• Authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship required now or in the future)
• Bachelor’s degree
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer and typing proficiency
• Ability to work independently with strong initiative, adaptability, and problem-solving skills

Preferred:

• At least 2 years of work experience in any setting or
• At least one year of experience in a healthcare setting

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
