Clinical Coordinator | Patient Care Unit | Full-Time

About the Job:

The Clinical Coordinator works in concert with Nurse Manager/Department Leadership to develop departmental goals consistent with the Tamarack Health's Mission Vision and Values, the principles and activities of True North, and organizational goals. The Clinical Coordinator works to promote high quality patient care, perform work improvement projects, and administrative duties within assigned areas. Activities include assisting with development and implementation of onboarding, preceptorship, staff training/education, and annual performance review. The Clinical Coordinator may assume direct clinical care and provides leadership in the department.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree and professional certification are preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of experience as a registered nurse in a hospital or ambulatory setting.
  • Management/supervisory experience preferred.
  • Meets requirements of Staff RN II and unit specific competence.
  • Must be able to read and comprehend written materials of a complex level such as contracts, government regulations and other agencyrequirements written in English.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing including the ability to make effective group presentations in English.
  • Must be able to comprehend and make mathematical computations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, andstatistical applications.
  • Understands and effectively uses Microsoft Office, payroll, and clinical documentation systems pertinent to role. Effectively uses internet resources to enhance role

Licensure/Certification

  • Licensed as a registered nurse in the state of Wisconsin.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Shift Time: 8 hour shifts
