Your Role:

SUMMARY:
The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for planning, supervising, and coordinating activities of other nurses, GI Techs, and support personnel in the patient care areas. Ensuring patient care needs are met, the Clinical Coordinator will maintain an awareness of all patient care from admission to discharge, and maintain adequate supplies for scheduled procedures. As a leader, the Clinical Coordinator is tasked with inspiring others by creating accountability, promoting fairness, developing team members, and promoting a positive morale even in unexpected circumstances. Provide compassionate care to patients before, during, and after procedures. Collaborate with the Clinical Director on Nursing, Front Office, Transporter, and GI Tech procedures/processes requiring improvement or alteration. Ensures all employees have met initial orientation requirements and ongoing competencies. May be assigned training/orientation of new employees and nursing students; correcting work routines according to center policy and procedures as an active participant in staff development.

Requirements:

  • Active RN Licensure and graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • At least one (1) year leadership/ management experience
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain within 3 months).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist in moving patients up to 350 pounds.
  • Strong critical thinking, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
