Clinical Coordinator - Sterile Processing (Full Time)

Fortis College in Houston is seeking an experienced Sterile Processing professional to join our team as the Clinical Coordinator for our Sterile Processing Technician program. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys mentoring others, building relationships with healthcare partners, and helping students successfully transition into the workforce.

What You’ll Do

As the Clinical Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in connecting the classroom to real-world clinical experience.

• Coordinate and schedule student clinical rotations
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local healthcare partners
• Identify and develop new clinical affiliation sites to support student opportunities
• Support and mentor students during their clinical training
• Monitor student progress and ensure clinical competencies and objectives are met
• Represent the program through community and professional outreach
• Maintain clinical documentation and ensure compliance with program requirements

What You Bring

• CRCST certification (required)
• Minimum 5 years of recent Sterile Processing experience
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to collaborate with clinical partners, faculty, and students

Preferred:

• Teaching, training, or clinical education experience
