Clinical Counseling Intern Coordinator

Requirements:

  • Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor -Supervisor (LPCC-S required)
  • At least 2 years of leadership experience
  • 1 year experience at Catalyst, preferred
  • Familiarity with EHR and chart management, proven through Audits

Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Supervision and Clinical Supervision of a Team of Interns, consisting of License and Trainee Interns
    • Providing individual and group supervision to LPC Interns

      • Point person to manage and Assess High Risk Situations
      • Documenting supervision and consultation meetings with Supervision Log Form
        • Self Care of Independent Therapists and Supervisors
        • Legal/Ethical Issues
        • Administrative Issues
        • Issues with Therapists or Supervisees
        • Communication
        • Documentation
        • Human Resource Issues
    • Supporting and providing coaching between formal meetings
      • Supporting Intern Team with administrative and clinical issues
      • Assisting with development and implementation of Support Plans, if needed
      • Assist team with follow up as needed for audit corrections/ lack of correction
    • Providing Team Agenda and maintaining meetings minutes
    • Training and education of Intern Team based on strengths and areas for growth in relation to Consultation and Supervision, depending on level of supervision needed

  • Working under the direction of a Clinical Director and attending monthly Intern Coordinator Team meetings with Clinical Director
  • Monitoring Teams growth and connection with their team
  • Managing and updating any changes needed to maintain Catalyst Clinical Standards
  • Supervise and assist with management of client chart and clinical care of clients for their team
  • Responsible for monitoring and education regarding ethical standards of client care for their team
  • Responsible for monitoring, reviewing, approving and signing off on clinical documentation where applicable for their team
  • Adhere to all Catalyst Policies and Procedures
  • Be aware of high risk clients in your district and check in with therapists to offer support with high risk cases
  • Communicate with Catalyst leadership team about buildings that need more support or training for high risk case-loads
  • Communication with University - Field supervisor meetings/visits
  • Attend required training - per University contract to be a supervisor (approval needed from CD)
  • Complete required Intern Evaluations as needed
  • Communication with the intern's school district/district lead/ therapist intern is shadowing - re. Clinical Concerns/disciplinary concerns
  • Assist team with follow up as needed for audit corrections/ lack of correction
  • Clinical On- Boarding Tasks and on-going needs
  • Programming development, support and consultation
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Will carry a caseload with productivity.
