Clinical Dental Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The dental assistant provides chairside assistance to dentists, as well as managing sterilization duties to ensure smooth operations The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care. This person must be adaptable, detail-oriented, and have a strong understanding of dental procedures and infection control protocols.

Duties

• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
• Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments, materials, and sterilized equipment.
• Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures in the dental software system.
• Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene practices.
• Move between operatories and sterilization areas as needed to support dental staff.
• Provide backup support for other dental assistants as required.

Experience

• Must be certified in x-ray, coronal polishing and CPR.
• Knowledge of anatomy, dental terminology, and medical documentation is essential.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures in the dental software system.
• Strong understanding of sterilization techniques and infection control.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
