Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Clinical Director of Behavior Health to lead our multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing exceptional mental health and behavioral services. In this pivotal role, you will provide overall direction and leadership to the clinical staff at Standard Healthcare Plus, LLC. This role is responsible for directing clinical components and facilitating organization-wide quality improvement and program development in strict alignment with COMAR regulation standards and CARF accreditation requirements.
Programs Oversight
The Clinical Director oversees all behavioral health programs, including:
- Outpatient Mental Health Clinic (OMHC)
- Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP)
- Assertive Community Treatment (ACT)
- Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
- Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
- 3.1 Residential Housing
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all programs maintain continuous alignment with Maryland Behavioral Health licensing (COMAR), MDH, Medicaid/CMS standards, and CARF accreditation.
- Provide proactive regulatory risk identification and documentation integrity reviews for behavioral health programs.
- Facilitate weekly treatment planning and clinical supervision meetings; review records for treatment documentation and planning quality.
- Oversee clinical staff development, training needs, and mandatory education required by the State of Maryland
- Enforce facility health and safety standards and ensure strict adherence to the organization's Harassment Policy.
Employment Standards
- Masters or Ph.D. in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or a related behavioral health field from accredited College or University
- 3 years supervisory experience in a day treatment, residential or hospital setting;
- 2 years experience with substance abuse treatment.
- Active Maryland clinical license required: LCSW-C, LCPC, LCPAT, or equivalent Maryland board-approved clinical licensure.
- Approved Clinical Supervisor status (or eligibility) preferred.
- Must possess exceptional management skills, be highly organized and able to work well with clients and professionals at all levels in the organization.
- Must have strong leadership and communication skills as well as a thorough understanding of treating clients with substance and abuse and behavioral health care issues.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
