Clinical Director - Bridge Housing Campus

Organization Overview

The Pope Francis Center, Bridge Housing Campus (BHC), is a response to the complex and interconnected barriers to housing for adults experiencing homelessness. Based on years of research and best practices for alleviating homelessness, BHC provides trauma-informed, intensive wrap-around care necessary to help people become and stay housed. Located on a 60,000 square foot campus just 3 miles outside downtown Detroit, BHC houses 40 studio apartments where residents stay with access to comprehensive services including medical, respite, psychological, substance use recovery, social, and job-readiness support, along with housing advocacy.

BHC operates as an intensive transitional program, not an emergency shelter or permanent housing solution. Each resident receives an individualized treatment plan designed to support and empower them to overcome complex challenges while building trusting long-term relationships that continue beyond their campus stay.
