Job Summary
The Clinical Education Manager - RN is a vital role responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing clinical education programs across the agency meeting Home Health guidelines. This position ensures that nursing staff and healthcare professionals are equipped with the latest knowledge and skills to deliver exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate possesses extensive clinical expertise, strong management skills, and proficiency with various EMR/EHR systems. The role emphasizes compliance with HIPAA and NCQA standards while fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Duties

  • Coordinate and oversee employee education, onboarding, orientation, and ongoing training
  • Ensure initial and annual staff competencies are completed accurately and on time
  • Provide and coordinate clinical in‑service education for staff
  • Serve as a clinical and educational resource for nursing and clinical personnel
  • Assist in identifying required skills for annual competencies and support staff training needs
  • Maintain records of employee orientation, competencies, and training requirements
  • Participate in quality improvement (QAPI) activities and agency in‑service programs
  • Provide support with patient visits and clinical on‑call coverage as needed

Minimum Qualifications

  • Valid RN license with multistate licensure required.
  • Extensive clinical experience in areas such as critical care, acute care, and home care.
  • Proven experience in nurse management or supervising healthcare teams within diverse settings including home care environments.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy & physiology; ability to perform patient assessments and physical examinations accurately.
  • Skilled in medication administration techniques with the ability to teach these techniques
  • Excellent communication skills for training staff at all levels of clinical expertise
  • Knowledge of infection control practices and compliance standards such as NCQA guidelines is essential.
  • Relevant certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS) are required.

This role offers an opportunity to lead impactful educational initiatives that directly enhance patient safety and quality of care in the home care environment.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
