Clinical Flow Coordinator

CLINICAL FLOW COORDINATOR

Part-Time Position | 15-20 hrs/week | Immediate Opening

Located in a warm, open and inviting space just off NW 23rd in Portland, our health care office is looking to add a Clinical Flow Coordinator to complement our team. This position offers a great opportunity to work in a friendly and busy clinic with established, friendly professionals as your peers.

The Role

You'll be a key player in keeping our clinic running smoothly and ensuring every patient has an excellent experience. You'll work directly with our patients and clinical team, managing the flow of appointments, preparing treatment spaces, and supporting our Chiropractors and Massage Therapists so they can focus entirely on patient care.

This position goes beyond traditional front desk duties and requires someone who is comfortable staying active, multitasking, and helping maintain an organized clinic flow.

What You'll Do

Patient Flow & Clinical Support (Primary Focus)

  • Greet patients warmly and get them roomed efficiently
  • Prepare and maintain treatment stations (clean tables, organized supplies, equipment ready)
  • Manage patient flow between doctors and massage therapists
  • Guide patients through their visit experience
  • Ensure smooth check-out with next appointments scheduled
  • Assist doctors and therapists with patient transitions
  • Support passive therapies (decompression setup, laser therapy, exercise stations)

Administrative Support (Secondary Focus)

  • Answer phones and handle scheduling questions
  • Check patients in and out
  • Assist with patient intake
  • Confirm appointments and collect basic information
  • Book follow-up appointments as directed
  • Support the Office Manager with administrative needs

Experience That Helps

  • Customer service experience (2+ years)
  • Healthcare clinic or hospitality background (preferred but not required)
  • Interest in fitness, wellness, or athletic training
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work in a deadline-oriented healthcare environment

Hours & Compensation

  • 15-20 hours per week, flexible scheduling
  • Monday, Wednesday, Thursday
  • $18-21/hour, based on experience and fit
