Clinical Informatics Coordinator

Job Summary and Qualifications

JOB SUMMARY:

The Clinical Informatics Coordinator is responsible for supporting the successful implementation and sustainability of Advanced Clinicals – CPOE and PK through educational and clinical applications. The position is responsible for the initial end user training in the use of Advanced Clinicals - CPOE, PK and the ongoing educational support to ensure adoption and integration. The DQM is responsible for coordinating the completion of project assessments, quality of data input by users, verification of appropriate sign off of orders within the computerized system and as a resource to the Director of Advanced Clinicals in the program roll out and ongoing maintenance. This individual will work with facility, division and corporate peers to ensure Advanced Clinicals data is correct and appropriate and meaningful use is achieved throughout the facility.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4 year Bachelor Degree required. Masters Degree Preferred
  • Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation.
  • One – three years of experience working with electronic health record systems required. Three - five years of experience working with electronic health record systems preferred.
  • One - three years of teaching experience required. Three – five years of teaching experience preferred.
