Clinical Intake Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team. As an Intake Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the intake process for new and current patients by coordinating activities for treatment authorizations and ensuring treatments are delivered as scheduled.

Duties:

• Guide and support intake coordinators in developing effective processes that achieve desired results
• Maintain oversight of the intake and authorization process to ensure expectations are consistently met
• Conduct initial intake assessments with patients to gather necessary information
• Enter patient data into systems accurately and efficiently
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain required authorizations
• Schedule patient appointments and coordinate with other departments as needed
• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from patients, families, and healthcare providers
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations
• Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
• Collaborate with the medical receptionist and front desk staff to ensure a seamless patient experience

Skills

• - Spanish speaking required.
• - Proficient in using computer systems and software applications

- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy practices
- Familiarity with medical scheduling systems and phone systems
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
- Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Previous experience as an intake coordinator, medical receptionist, or in a similar role is a plus

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
