Job Title: Clinical Laboratory Assistant 2
Location: Ira Davenport Memorial Hospital, Bath, NY
Schedule: Full-Time, Days/Weekends

Overview:
Join our team as a Clinical Laboratory Assistant 2! This role supports the laboratory by performing essential non-technical tasks such as phlebotomy, patient registration, specimen processing, and courier duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect blood samples and ensure accurate labeling
• Register patients and verify orders in the system
• Process and prepare specimens for testing or shipment
• Maintain supply inventory and assist with courier deliveries
• Provide coverage at patient service centers as needed
• Perform general office tasks and support customer service

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Valid driver's license
• One year of lab experience or phlebotomy certification
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
