Clinical Medical Assistant

We are a busy ob/gyn practice looking for an experienced, driven clinical medical assistant to join our team! As a medical assistant you will be responsible for providing clinical and administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. You will support our providers and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication.

We are looking for someone with flexible availability. This position is part-time, 2-3 days per week (16-24 hours on average). Days of the week and hours will vary. We are closed on weekends.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document basic medical history
• Obtain vital signs
• Administer injections
• Assist during medical examinations and procedures
• Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments
• Enter electronic lab orders for specimens
• Perform testing, such as urinalysis and pregnancy tests

Skills

• Experience as a clinical medical assistant
• Knowledge of Epic EMR is a plus
• Bi-lingual preferred, but not required
• Ob/gyn experience is a plus, but not required
• Experience administering injections
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
• Social perceptiveness and service oriented
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and planning skills
