Job Summary
The Medical Assistant MUST BE BILINGUAL in English and Spanish. The CMA supports physicians and clinical staff in delivering exceptional patient care by performing medical, clerical, and administrative duties. This role ensures smooth patient flow by greeting and registering patients, updating records, and assisting in clinical procedures. The Medical Assistant is essential in ensuring patient satisfaction and promoting positive interactions throughout the healthcare experience. Education

Clinical Support
· Assists in preparing patients for examinations and procedures.

· Performs basic clinical services such as wound care, EKGs, phlebotomy, and injections.
· Ensures exam rooms are prepared, stocked, and sanitized between visits.
Administrative Duties
· Greets and registers patients, verifies demographic data, and updates records.
· Manages patient appointment scheduling and reminder communications.
· Processes billing inquiries, collects payments, and follows cash-handling procedures.
· Ensures compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other healthcare regulations.
Office Management
· Maintains inventory of clinical supplies and orders replenishments as needed.
· Tracks and manages office equipment and assists in coordinating repairs.
· Provides administrative support to medical staff, including preparing correspondence, scheduling meetings, and ensuring documentation accuracy.
General Responsibilities:
· Complies with all FHCP policies, laws, and regulations, including HIPAA
· Adheres to safety protocols and promotes a secure work environment
· Participates in ongoing professional development
· Performs other duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.50 - $25.00 per hour
