Responsibilities:

- Develop and deliver engaging and interactive lessons in the field of Medical Assisting or Patient Care Technician to students

- Conduct hands-on lab Instruction, and on-line instruction to students

- Implement curriculum that aligns with industry standards and best practices

- Utilize learning technologies, such as Blackboard, to enhance student engagement and facilitate online learning

- Provide guidance and support to students, including answering questions and providing feedback on assignments

- Conduct assessments and evaluate student performance to ensure learning objectives are met

- Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve instructional methods and materials

- Stay up-to-date with advancements in the field of Medical Assisting or Patient Care Technician to incorporate relevant information into lessons

- Manage inventory of supplies

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of Medical Assisting and related concepts, including {specific skills}

- Experience working with students in a higher education setting preferred, but not required

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Familiarity with on-line learning management systems is preferred, but not required

- Ability to review documentation, such as student work or research papers, for accuracy and completeness

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Requirements:

- 5 years of Medical Assisting and/or Phlebotomy & EKG

- Must possess an active Medical Assisting certification
