Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Clinical Medical Scribe to support healthcare providers by accurately documenting patient encounters in real-time. The ideal candidate will possess strong medical knowledge, excellent typing skills, and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) and electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Duties

• Observe physician-patient interactions and transcribe detailed clinical notes into EHR or EMR systems with accuracy and efficiency.
• Assist healthcare providers by documenting patient histories, physical examinations, diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up instructions.
• Ensure all medical records are complete, accurate, and compliant with healthcare regulations and privacy standards.
• Support the clinical team by managing documentation of laboratory results, imaging reports, and other diagnostic data.
• Utilize physiology and anatomy knowledge to accurately interpret clinical information during documentation.
• Maintain proficiency in medical terminology to ensure clarity and precision in all medical records.
• Collaborate with medical staff to streamline documentation processes and improve workflow efficiency.
• Demonstrate familiarity with emergency room procedures and documentation requirements when applicable.

Skills

• Strong transcription skills with the ability to type quickly and accurately under pressure.
• Extensive experience with medical office operations, including familiarity with EMR and EHR systems.
• In-depth understanding of medical terminology, physiology, and human anatomy.
• Proven ability to produce detailed and precise medical documentation for various clinical settings.
• Prior experience in emergency room environments is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of medical records management, including confidentiality protocols and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure error-free documentation.
