Clinical Medical Scribe

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Clinical Medical Scribe to support healthcare providers by accurately documenting patient encounters in real-time. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, combined with excellent transcription skills and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) system ECLINICALS. As a vital member of the medical team, the Clinical Medical Scribe will ensure precise and comprehensive documentation, enabling providers to deliver efficient and high-quality patient care in fast-paced clinical environments.

Duties

• Transcribe detailed clinical notes during patient examinations, ensuring accuracy and completeness in real-time.
• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) and electronic medical record (EMR) systems to input, update, and manage patient information securely.
• Assist healthcare providers by documenting patient histories, physical exams, assessments, and treatment plans with clarity and precision.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and medical records management to support accurate documentation.
• Support the organization of medical records by ensuring proper filing, coding, and retrieval of patient information.
• Collaborate effectively with medical staff to facilitate smooth clinical workflows while adhering to confidentiality and compliance standards.
• Demonstrate proficiency in typing and transcription skills to keep pace with fast-moving clinical environments, including emergency room settings when applicable.
• Contribute to a positive team environment by maintaining professionalism and attention to detail during all documentation tasks.

Experience

• Prior experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems is essential for efficient documentation. E-CLINICALS
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and medical records management is required for accurate note-taking.
• Experience in transcription or medical documentation roles will be advantageous.
• Ability to perform under pressure in dynamic environments such as emergency rooms or urgent care clinics is desirable.
• Strong typing skills combined with attention to detail are necessary for precise record-keeping.
• Previous exposure to healthcare environments involving emergency care or acute patient management will be considered a plus. Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
