For a limited time MaineHealth is offering up to $10,000 Sign on bonus for all eligible experienced Registered Nurses with 1-2 years of experience and $20,000 for experienced Registered Nurses with greater than 2 years of experience!
More than 3,300 babies are born each year at Maine Medical Center. In the Prenatal Center we care for high risk ante partum and high risk postpartum women in our 12 bed unit. We accept high risk pregnancy transfers from both Maine and New Hampshire. This unit is the only stand alone high risk ante partum and postpartum unit in the state of Maine. We are a growing department that supports and works closely with the Labor and Delivery and Mother/Baby team. Maine Medical Center has a clinical nurse advancement pathway, with a strong history of RN growth in this department. This is a great opportunity for nurses who are seeking professional growth, research, and leadership development. This is a highly motivated team with the expectation of specialty certification two years after hire.
This is a part time night shift opportunity consisting of 2, 12 hour shifts per week.
Position Summary

In accordance with national standards of nursing practice and within the guidelines and policies and procedures of both Maine Medical Center and the Maine State Board of Nursing, the Clinical Nurse is responsible for assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, documentation, and evaluation of the effects of nursing care. Care delivery and coordination of patient and family care begins with the initial contact with the health care system and may continue across the continuum. Services may be provided on an inpatient, outpatient, ambulatory, and/or community basis.
