As a Clinical Placement Advisor, you will support graduate nursing students across multiple disciplines and degree programs, managing their fieldwork experience as part of their Master's and Doctoral curricula. You will serve as the primary point of contact for students, faculty, and clinical partners throughout the placement lifecycle from enrollment through graduation. This role is central to student retention and success, and requires someone who builds strong relationships as naturally as they manage complex logistics.
This is a full-time, fully remote position. Some travel to partner clinical sites may be required.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full student clinical placement lifecycle across multiple programs
- Oversee student communication from enrollment through clinical completion and graduation
- Set up and maintain clinical affiliation agreements and their renewal cycles
- Ensure clearance and onboarding for existing and new clinical sites
- Set up students and placement sites in EXXAT each term
- Collect and maintain preceptor and site documents needed to clear students prior to rotations
- Communicate with faculty about students' competency progress and manage site and preceptor approval processes
- Conduct Clinical Placement Information sessions for newly admitted students across multiple programs
What You Need to Get the Job Done
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in a health science, psychology, or related field
- 1-3 years of fieldwork placement experience, preferably in a healthcare or graduate program setting
- Experience working with non-traditional adult learners in a higher education environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Pro
- Experience with clinical placement software, preferably EXXAT
- Ability to travel to partner sites as required
