Clinical Psychologist – Job Announcement
Job Description:
- Psychological Assessment & Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments to diagnose emotional, behavioral, or mental health disorders.
- Therapeutic Interventions: Provide evidence-based psychological therapies, including individual, group, and family counseling sessions.
- Treatment Planning: Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
- Crisis Intervention: Offer immediate psychological support during emotional or psychiatric crises.
- Progress Monitoring: Evaluate patient progress and adjust therapeutic approaches as necessary.
- Confidential Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely documentation of patient sessions and clinical notes.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other care providers to ensure holistic patient care.
- Psychoeducation: Educate patients and families on mental health conditions and coping strategies.
Requirements:
- Education: Master’s degree or Doctorate (PhD/PsyD) in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience post-qualification.
- License/Certification: DHA license or DHA eligibility letter as a Clinical Psychologist is a must.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ethical practice, cultural sensitivity, and ability to manage a diverse caseload.
- Language: Proficiency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
