Danat Al Emarat is a world class specialty women's and children's hospital in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. It offers advanced medical services across specialties including Neonatology, Pediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Women's Health. The hospital is one of the very few to encompass a dedicated Fetal Medicine Department along with a full fledged Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in the UAE. This has established Danat Al Emarat as a regional referral center for women with high risk pregnancies, supported by its Level III NICU providing care for the most fragile newborns.

Danat Al Emarat is seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to join our growing Behavioral Health team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with women, children, and adolescents, delivering evidence based psychological assessments and therapeutic interventions across outpatient and inpatient settings. This role plays a key part in supporting perinatal mental health, child and adolescent emotional well being, and family psychological care within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations for women, children, and adolescents.
  • Deliver evidence based psychological interventions, including individual, group, and family therapy.
  • Support patients across outpatient clinics and inpatient units, including maternity, pediatric, and behavioral health services.
  • Provide psychological support for perinatal mental health, developmental concerns, trauma, and emotional or behavioral difficulties.
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, pediatricians, obstetricians, nurses, therapists, and allied health professionals to develop integrated care plans.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case discussions, and care planning.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
  • Contribute to program development, patient and family education, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology.
  • Valid professional licensure and credentials as a Clinical Psychologist.
  • Experience providing psychological assessment and therapy for women and/or pediatric populations.
  • Background in hospital or multidisciplinary clinical settings (preferred).
  • Competence in evidence based therapeutic approaches such as CBT, DBT, ACT, trauma informed care, and family based interventions.
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Eligibility for DOH licensure as a Clinical Psychologist.
