About the Role
Alta Loma is seeking a full-time Clinical Psychologist – Neuropsychological Assessment Specialist to lead comprehensive evaluations within our Comprehensive Assessment Program (CAP).
This is a purely assessment-focused role designed for a clinician who values depth over volume and precision over routine. You will conduct comprehensive neuropsychological and psychological evaluations for adults with complex, high-acuity presentations, synthesizing data across disciplines to produce insights that meaningfully guide treatment and life decisions.
This role extends beyond traditional assessment, you will serve as a clinical thought partner, translating complex findings into actionable guidance for clients, families, and referring professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological and psychological evaluations, including full testing batteries
- Integrate findings across psychiatric, medical, psychological, and behavioral domains to develop nuanced clinical formulations
- Produce high-quality, integrative reports that include:
- Diagnostic clarity
- Functional insights
- Strategic treatment recommendations
- Placement guidance and next-step planning
- Collaborate closely with Alta Loma’s multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, dietitians, and other clinical professionals
- Engage directly with clients and families to:
- Explain the assessment process
- Deliver findings in a clear, compassionate, and actionable manner
- Communicate and collaborate with referral sources and external providers
- Present findings in a structured feedback process approximately two weeks from assessment initiation
- Utilize administrative and AI-supported infrastructure to enhance efficiency and report quality
- Contribute to the ongoing development and refinement of the Comprehensive Assessment Program

Qualifications
- PsyD or PhD in Clinical Psychology (required)
- Licensed Psychologist in Texas (required)
- Demonstrated experience conducting comprehensive psychological and/or neuropsychological assessments
- Strong preference for experience with:
- High-acuity psychiatric populations
- Residential or long-term treatment settings
- Presenting findings to families and multidisciplinary teams
- Exceptional skills in:
- Clinical integration and diagnostic clarity
- Written communication and report writing
- Verbal communication of complex findings in an accessible, high-touch manner
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $120,000 – $150,000 (based on experience) (Full-Time)
- Salary: $60-$70 per hour (Part-Time)
