Clinical Rater - Psychologist

Job Description:

Geomind Precision Sciences (GPS) is a physician-operated clinical research site conducting outpatient Phase 2 and Phase 3 trials in psychiatry, including major depressive disorder and schizophrenia. Our mission is to search for better treatments for mental illness — through precise science and fundamental respect for every participant. We are an early-stage site with a clear blueprint for steady growth, and we are hiring the team that will help build it.

The Clinical Rater will administer structured psychiatric assessments. We are looking for someone looking to grow into a full time position. Candidates who bring additional administrative, operational, or clinical skills may be considered for a broader role from the outset.

Tasks

• Administer structured psychiatric interviews and clinician-rated scales (eg MADRS, HAM-D, PANSS, CGI, SCID, C-SSRS)
• Score and document assessments in source records and EDC systems
• Complete sponsor- and protocol-specific rater training and certifications
• Coordinate assessments with PI and study coordinators

Required

• PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology preferred; master’s-level candidates with strong clinical or research backgrounds will be considered
• Experience with psychological assessment or structured diagnostic interviewing
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Compassion and patience working with the mental health population

Preferred

• California licensure; license-eligible candidates considered
• Psychiatric or CNS clinical research experience
• Background with schizophrenia, mood disorders, or psychiatric populations
• Prior PANSS, MADRS, HAM-D, or SCID rater certification

Pay: $45.00 - $65.00 per hour
