Reporting to the VP of Recruiting, The Clinical Recruiter will be a team player who can build strong talent pipelines while representing the GoodVets brand. We are scaling at an incredible pace and are just getting started. This individual will shape how we attract, select, and retain top clinical talent in a high-volume space. This role is located in our Downtown Chicago office 4 days per week.
- Proactively searching for potential Veterinary Technicians, Veterinary Assistants, and Veterinary Receptionists through various channels, such as job boards, social media, professional networks, and referrals, to identify individuals who align with the hospital's needs.
- Conducting thorough screenings of potential candidates, assessing their qualifications, experience, skills, and cultural fit for the hospital.
- Coordinating and scheduling interviews between candidates and hospital hiring managers, ensuring a seamless and efficient process.
- Establishing and maintaining meaningful relationships with candidates, keeping them informed regarding hospital opportunities, and addressing all questions and concerns promptly.
- Staying informed about industry trends, competitor practices, market shifts, and emerging recruitment strategies.
- Facilitating communication between candidates and hiring managers during the negotiation process. Collaborating with HR and legal teams to ensure that offers align with hospital policies and industry standards.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date candidate records, utilizing applicant tracking systems to efficiently track candidate progress, while monitoring recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, source of hire, and conversion rates.
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience recommended.
- You possess knowledge of the recruitment process, talent sourcing, candidate engagement, and recruitment metrics.
- You are a strong communicator, an effective listener, and can connect with varied individuals across the organization.
- You have proven analytical and problem-solving skills; moreover, you analyze data, identify trends, and subsequently develop them into recommendations for strategic action.
- Your approach to recruiting is anchored in exceptional customer service practices, including attention to producing quality results while building positive relationships.
