South Florida Nephrology Research is seeking a detail-oriented, motivated Clinical Research Assistant to join our growing research team. This role supports clinical trials in nephrology and ensures high-quality data collection, patient coordination, and compliance with study protocols. The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, and eager to learn in a fast-paced clinical research environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the coordination and conduct of clinical research studies under the supervision of the Principal Investigator and study coordinators.
- Recruit, screen, and schedule study participants, ensuring adherence to inclusion/exclusion criteria.
- Translate study materials, communicate with Spanish-speaking participants, and ensure clear bilingual understanding of study procedures.
- Collect, record, and maintain accurate study data in electronic data capture (EDC) systems.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain regulatory documents and study binders.
- Assist with processing laboratory samples, shipping, and maintaining supply inventories.
- Communicate with sponsors, CROs, and clinical staff as needed.
- Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), IRB requirements, and study protocols.
Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
- Phlebotomy experience (required)
- Prior clinical research experience preferred but not required—training provided.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with diverse patient populations.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and basic computer systems.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- CPR/BLS certification is a plus.
- Must be reliable, professional, and able to maintain confidentiality in all research-related tasks.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
