About the Role

VI Research is seeking an experienced Clinical Research Associate (CRA) to join our growing team and support the oversight of clinical and observational studies across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region and Middle East. The CRA will be responsible for monitoring sites, ensuring protocol compliance, and maintaining the highest standards of Good Clinical Practice (GCP).


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct site selection, initiation, monitoring, and close-out visits in accordance with ICH-GCP, local regulatory requirements, and company SOPs.
  • Verify that study data is accurate, complete, and verifiable against source documents.
  • Ensure timely reporting of safety information and adverse events.
  • Liaise with investigators, site staff, and project teams to maintain smooth study operations.
  • Provide regular status updates and contribute to risk mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare and maintain essential trial documentation (e.g., Investigator Site File).
  • Support regulatory and ethics submissions as needed in the GCC.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 2-3 years of CRA experience in interventional and non-interventional studies.
  • Proven track record within the GCC region (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, or Oman) with strong knowledge of local regulatory environments, and processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, or a related field.
  • In-depth understanding of ICH-GCP guidelines and regional regulations.
  • Familiarity with drug development, real-world evidence (RWE), and health economics & outcomes research (HEOR).
  • Ability to travel extensively across GCC countries.


Essential Skills

  • Fluency in Arabic (spoken and written) and strong English communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Proficiency in EDC systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
