What You’ll Do
Contract Analysis:
- Review contract templates, redline terms, and ensure agreement language meets client needs while maintaining compliance and risk mitigation.
- Work closely with clients to understand critical contractual terms and requirements.
- Facilitate contract negotiations with study sponsors/CROs and coordinate final contract execution.
- Review protocol amendments to determine if contract amendments are required; negotiate and execute amendments when appropriate.
- Develop and maintain a playbook of preferred client contract terms and acceptable edits to support consistency across negotiations.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients offering expert insights and strategic recommendations on clinical trial agreement terms.
Budget Analysis:
- Develop clinical trial budgets based upon protocol, coverage analysis and site specific requirements.
- Conduct budget negotiations with sponsors on behalf of site.
- Participate in client meetings and ensure high quality service delivery and client experience.
- Partner with fellow analysts and client research sites to understand client needs and exceed expectations
What You'll Need:
- Degree, certification or credential demonstrating formal knowledge in a legal field (e.g., paralegal certificate, JD, etc.)
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience with contract redlining and negotiations, ideally for clinical trials
- Familiarity with clinical trial documents including study protocols, budget materials, clinical trial agreements, etc.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work confidently with complex information
- A track record of producing accurate, high-quality work and meeting deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and comfort collaborating with multiple stakeholders
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset

It is anticipated that this position will grow into a full time, contracts focused role, at which time budget assignments may be eliminated.
Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
