Clinical Research Coordinator

We are looking for a Clinical Research Coordinator with at least 2 years of experience. They will be working on multiple studies at the VA Long Beach Healthcare System. Studies will vary based on PI’s specialties.

Duties will include: study patient screening, patient visit preparation, patient interaction (which may include reminder calls, performing consenting visits, taking vital signs), specimen processing/shipping, and maintenance of study documentation and adherence to local IRB guidelines.

We are seeking applicants who can commit to this position for a minimum of two years.

Our desired applicant will possess a strong background in either the natural or health sciences. The applicant should have time-management and organizational skills that allow them to work in a fast-faced and team-oriented environment. Experience in public health, clinical research, phlebotomy, or nursing is preferred, but not mandatory. This position is in person.
