Clinical Research Coordinator for Specialty Physician's Practice

We are seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) to support and complete clinical research coordinator to assist in ensuring studies are conducted in compliance with regulatory requirements, sponsor protocols and internal SOP's while maintaining patient care and data integrity to the highest levels.
Selected Activities:
- Study coordination and execution - coordinate day to day activities from start up through closeout; schedule and conduct study visits; ensure proper documentation.
- Regulatory and compliance - maintain documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements; assist with IRB submissions; ensure informed consent is obtained and documented.
- Patient interaction - recruit, screen and enroll participants; educate patients on protocols, procedures and expectations; monitor patient safety and report adverse events.
- Data Management - collect, enter and maintain study data in EDC systems; resolve data queries timely; ensure source documentation supports reported data.
- Operational support - assist with sponsor visits, audits and inspections; maintain study supplies and track; collaborate with other staff to ensure study flow.
Qualifications/Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills; excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication, problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft office software, the Internet and other software products EDC's, EMR's and PM's as needed
- Experience in clinical research and/or ophthamology preferred
- Knowledge of FDA regulations and ICH-GCP guidelines desired
- Customer service focus and professional approach to study participants

Local travel will be required.
