Clinical Research Coordinator - LOS ANGELES LOCAL ONLY - INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR

Position Summary The Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) is responsible for the daily management and conduct of clinical research studies in accordance with FDA, GCP, and ICH guidelines. The CRC will work closely with the Principal Investigator and clinical team to ensure protocol compliance, subject safety, and accurate data collection.

Key Responsibilities · Coordinate all aspects of clinical trials from site initiation to close-out. · Screen, consent, and enroll study participants per protocol and IRB requirements. · Maintain accurate and timely source documentation, eCRF entry, and regulatory binders. · Schedule and conduct study visits, assessments, and follow-ups. · Manage investigational product accountability, temperature logs, and shipping records. · Communicate with sponsors, monitors, and CROs during monitoring visits and audits. · Assist with regulatory submissions, IRB correspondence, and protocol amendments. · Participate in investigator meetings, staff training, and internal quality reviews.

Qualifications · Certified or experienced Medical Assistant (MA, CMA, or RMA) required. · Prior experience in a medical office, wound care, or podiatry clinic preferred. · Interest in or exposure to clinical research (training provided). · Strong attention to detail, organizational, and documentation skills. · Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. · Proficient in Microsoft Office, EMR systems, and basic data entry. · CPR certification preferred.
