Mercury Clinical Research is seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinical Research Coordinator to support pediatric clinical trials within our growing research organization.

This role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children and families while maintaining the professionalism, organization, and attention to detail required in clinical research.

The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, calm under pressure, emotionally intelligent, and capable of building trust quickly with both pediatric patients and caregivers.

What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate and manage pediatric clinical research studies from start-up through closeout
  • Build strong, compassionate relationships with children and families throughout study participation
  • Educate parents and guardians on study procedures, expectations, and visit schedules
  • Perform study procedures independently, including:
  • Phlebotomy
  • Specimen processing and shipping
  • ECGs
  • Vital signs
  • Recruit, screen, and schedule study participants
  • Accurately complete source documentation and EDC entry
  • Assist with AE/SAE reporting and safety documentation
  • Ensure protocol compliance and patient safety at all times
  • Maintain compliance with GCP/ICH guidelines, HIPAA, FDA regulations, and study protocols
  • Prepare for sponsor, CRO, and monitoring visits
  • Collaborate closely with investigators, sponsors, monitors, and internal teams
  • Support efficient clinic flow and day-to-day research operations

What We’re Looking For (Required):

  • Minimum 2 years of clinical research experience
  • Pediatric clinical research experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to independently perform clinical procedures
  • Strong phlebotomy and specimen processing experience
  • Experience with:
  • EDC systems
  • Patient recruitment
  • AE/SAE reporting
  • Source documentation
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work effectively with children and families
  • Bilingual communication skills required/preferred
  • Strong understanding of:
  • GCP/ICH guidelines
  • HIPAA
  • FDA regulations
  • Protocol compliance
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Dependable, proactive, adaptable, and team-oriented

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Pediatric clinical research experience
  • Experience in vaccine or pediatric studies
  • Multi-therapeutic clinical research experience
  • International Medical Graduates (IMGs) or Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs) with relevant clinical or research experience are encouraged to apply

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
