Clinical Research Coordinator / Psychometrician

Clinical research center specializing in FDA trials testing drugs to slow progression in people at risk for Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson's disease is seeking a personable and hard-working applicant for a research coordinator and psychometrician position in Portland, OR. This position can grow into a full-time career path with benefits if the applicant successfully passes through the 6 month introductory period. Our team is self-motivated, and hardworking; we require the applicant to share these traits along with good social skills and a professional presentation.

Duties would include:

• Testing cognitive function in subjects
• Interviewing study partners
• Creating source documents per protocol
• Investigator site file maintenance
• Host interim monitor visits (remote and on-site)
• Collecting vital signs
• Phlebotomy
• Conducting ECGs and/or EEGs
• Answering phones and managing participants schedules and appointments
• Scheduling patient appointments
• Collecting/preparing/shipping lab specimens
• Other necessary duties required by the position

Requirements:

• A cover letter is required in order to be assessed for this position
• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution, especially in health science, psychology, or neuroscience.
• Self-motivated team-player with good social skills
• Ability to multi-task in a busy, demanding environment
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to follow detailed instructions
• Experience with Excel and Word.
• Prior clinical trials experience and knowledge of clinical research procedures, GCP, and/or HIPAA is beneficial, but not required.

Salary is negotiable commensurate with education and experience. After completion of a 6 month introductory period, the position allows for full-time work, medical benefits, paid time off, and sick leave.
