Clinical Research Nurse

Overview:

• Hourly Pay: $40 - 50/hr
• Part Time: 20 - 30 hrs/week
• No weekends, all hours M-F
• Hybrid Flexibility (Training on site, then on site 1 time per week!)

Their reputation for excellence has been built across over 20 therapeutic areas, over 15 physicians, and over 550 completed trials! They are looking to expand their team with a skilled clinical research Nurse coordinator!

Responsibilities

As a Clinical Research Nurse, you will be a specialized research professional under the direction of the clinical Principal Investigator and Site Manager. While the PI and Site Manager are responsible for the overall design, conduct, and management of the clinical trial, you support, facilitate, and coordinate the daily clinical trial activities and play a critical role in the conduct of the study including supporting patients throughout the clinical trial process!

• Use EPIC Electronic Medical Records to search, filter, sort, and identify patients to recruit to studies.
• Identify, recruit, and pre-screen potential study participants using practice specific access and communication protocols
• Interact with private practice partners
• Develop and implement recruitment strategies
• Maintain screening logs and track recruitment metrics
• Collaborate with study teams to ensure study goals are met
• Act as a liaison between participants, study team, and other providers
• Obtain Informed consent
• Perform clinical procedures aligned with study protocol requirements (EKG, spirometry, etc)
• Perform skilled nursing procedures (infusions, assessments, etc.)
• Monitor patient safety and adverse events
• Educate study participants on clinical conditions and clinical trial

Qualifications:

• Active Ohio nursing license (RN)
• Proficiency with EPIC Electronic Medical Records
• Ability to work on site 1 time per week
