Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and personable Clinical Research Patient Recruiter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building awareness of clinical studies, connecting with potential participants, and guiding them through the recruitment and prescreening process. This position is ideal for someone with excellent communication skills, community outreach experience, and a passion for patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage potential participants for ongoing clinical studies through referrals, community events, physician offices, and advocacy groups.
- Conduct phone screens and in-person prescreens to determine initial eligibility.
- Educate patients and their families about study opportunities in a clear and compassionate manner.
- Collaborate with research coordinators, physicians, and site staff to support enrollment goals.
- Track recruitment activities, maintain accurate logs, and report progress to management.
- Build relationships with community organizations, healthcare providers, and local networks to expand patient outreach.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in patient recruitment, clinical research, healthcare, or community outreach preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
- Organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills.
- Comfortable making outreach calls and engaging with diverse populations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic database tools; experience with recruitment platforms a plus.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
