Clinical Research Recruitment Specialist

Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized, motivated, and self-directed Clinical Research Recruitment Specialist to join our growing Clinical Research Department. This individual will play a critical role in identifying, tracking, contacting, and scheduling potential participants for clinical research studies.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple recruitment initiatives simultaneously. This position requires someone who can work independently while collaborating closely with physicians, research coordinators, and clinical staff to evaluate and schedule qualified study participants.
Responsibilities
- Track, manage, and organize participant leads from multiple internal and external recruitment sources.
- Contact prospective clinical trial participants via phone, email, text, and other approved communication methods.
- Build, maintain, and update recruitment databases and tracking systems.
- Screen potential participants according to study-specific criteria and research department guidelines.
- Coordinate participant scheduling with physicians, research coordinators, and clinical staff.
- Maintain accurate records of participant interactions and recruitment outcomes.
- Monitor recruitment progress and provide regular updates to the research team.
- Assist in developing and implementing recruitment strategies to support enrollment goals.
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and clinical research regulations.
- Perform other recruitment and administrative duties as assigned.
QualificationsPreferred
- Bachelor's degree or Associate degree in a healthcare, science, communications, business, or related field.
Required Skills
- Strong organizational and database management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and database systems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal skills.
Preferred Experience
- Clinical research experience.
- Healthcare, patient recruitment, customer service, sales, marketing, or call center experience.
- Experience using CRM systems, recruitment databases, or patient management software.

Compensation
Pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and relevant skills.
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
