Minding Mind Biznezz, LLC is seeking a motivated and compassionate LLMSW to join our small private practice as a 1099 Independent Contractor. In this role, you will provide psychotherapy and clinical counseling to individuals, children, families, and groups in an outpatient setting. You will support clients in navigating mental health challenges, developing coping strategies, and achieving personal growth. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive intake assessments using ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding to accurately diagnose clients and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based approaches such as CBT, psychodynamic therapy, and trauma-informed care
- Implement crisis intervention strategies to ensure client safety and stability during emergencies
- Provide counseling for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults experiencing PTSD, grief, anxiety, depression, or other mental health concerns
- Utilize telehealth platforms to deliver remote therapy sessions while maintaining HIPAA compliance and secure documentation standards
- Engage in case management activities, including care coordination and clinical documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams as needed to support clients’ mental health needs
- Maintain accurate, professional documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA and ethical standards
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with coding updates and emerging mental health research
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in social work, psychology, counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Valid licensure or certification as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LLMSW (Limited Licensed Social Worker)
- Proven experience working in outpatient clinical settings with diverse populations including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors.
- Strong knowledge of psychotherapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral management techniques, addiction counseling, grief counseling, and trauma-informed care.
- Experience with crisis intervention protocols and crisis management procedures.
- Familiarity with ICD-9/ICD-10 coding systems for diagnostic purposes; CPT coding knowledge is a plus.
- Proficiency in telehealth technology platforms ensuring HIPAA compliance during remote sessions.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or developmental disorders; experience with special education or pediatrics is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills combined with a compassionate approach to patient care; strong organizational skills for medical documentation and record keeping are essential.
