Clinical Social Worker/Therapist

Join our healthcare team as a new graduate or licensed veteran Clinical Social Worker or Mental Health Clinician. At Build The Self Psychotherapy, you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate, comprehensive mental health and social services to diverse patient populations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your expertise in psychotherapy. You will be instrumental in conducting biopsychosocial assessments, providing individual counseling, and coordinating care with other providers to ensure holistic support for patients with a wide range of needs, including neurodivergence, PTSD, and geriatrics. Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations and patient assessments to identify mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), or psychodynamic therapy, etc., for children, adults, and couples.
  • Collaborate to ensure accurate documentation using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy.
  • Engage in case management activities including intake procedures, treatment planning, progress monitoring, and discharge planning to optimize patient care outcomes.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW), Counseling Psychology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience working with children, adults and couples in clinical settings such as hospitals, community clinics, or home care environments.
  • Hands-on experience with EMR systems for documentation of patient records and progress notes.
  • Familiarity in psychotherapy techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy and crisis management strategies.
  • Familiarity with working with neurodivergent individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Alzheimer’s care, geriatrics, and working with patients who have PTSD or other trauma-related conditions.
  • Experience working within pediatric populations is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills for intake interviews, patient education, family counseling sessions, and interdisciplinary team collaboration.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality of medical records and sensitive information; experience with research data collection is desirable. Pay: $40.00 - $80.00 per hour
