We are seeking a compassionate dedicated Clinical Supervisor with an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) credential to lead our mental health and behavioral health services. Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor a team of licensed clinicians, including social workers and therapists, ensuring adherence to best practices and ethical standards
- Oversee clinical assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning for diverse populations including children, adults, and seniors
- Provide direct clinical counseling utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and applied behavior analysis (ABA)
- Coordinate crisis intervention efforts for individuals experiencing acute mental health crises or trauma such as PTSD or Alzheimer's care challenges
- Manage patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems; ensure accurate documentation of medical terminology and treatment progress
- Conduct intake assessments and case management to develop personalized care plans that incorporate family counseling, group therapy, and community resources
- Lead training sessions on topics like autism spectrum disorder (ASD), developmental disabilities, addiction counseling, crisis management, and pediatric behavioral health
- Facilitate collaboration with hospitals, schools, community agencies, and home care providers to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Monitor clinical outcomes through data collection and quality assurance processes; adjust treatment strategies based on patient progress
- Ensure compliance with all licensing requirements and maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical records management
Experience
- Proven supervisory experience in a clinical setting with a focus on behavioral health or social work leadership
- Extensive background in providing individual and group psychotherapy across diverse populations
- Demonstrated expertise in working with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), developmental disabilities, Alzheimer’s patients, PTSD sufferers, and those struggling with addiction or behavioral challenges
- Hands-on experience in crisis intervention and crisis management within hospital or community environments
- Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation; strong understanding of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), motivational interviewing techniques, and diagnostic evaluation procedures
- Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams while maintaining a patient-centered approach
- Strong leadership skills combined with excellent communication abilities to guide staff development and foster a positive work environment
