Location: San Diego preferred or Remote

Schedule: Part-time with the ability to be Full Time (Flexible; supervise growing team of associate therapists) Supervision sessions may be conducted in person or remotely via Zoom, providing flexibility and accessibility for both supervisors and associates.

Compensation: $70–$100/hour, commensurate with experience

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical supervision to associate therapists (psychological associate, AMFT, APCC, ACSW) in accordance with California state requirements.
  • Oversee and support the professional development of associates, ensuring quality care and adherence to ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to integrate Neural Pathway Therapy into client care plans.
  • Maintain accurate supervision records and offer constructive feedback to associates.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a culture of clinical excellence.
  • Support clinicians in integrating evidence-based modalities (CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing) into their work.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and best practices in documentation and crisis management.
  • You shall have final authority on hiring and dismissal of all interns and associates under supervision.
  • The Psychologist’s responsibility is limited to overseeing and supervising the psychological treatment component of each session, including all clinical supervision of associate(s) as it pertains to psychological care, assessment, and intervention.

Neural Science Institute Responsibilities

Neural Science Institute is operating as an MSO (Management Services Organization). Neural Science Institute shall provide non-clinical management services, including but not limited to:

  • Scheduling patient appointments
  • Billing and insurance claims processing
  • Recruiting and initial vetting of associates
  • Training and administrative support for interns
  • General administrative support for the Psychologist

Who We’re Looking For

  • Licensed Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) in California, with supervisor credentialing recognized by the California Board of Psychology.
  • Authorized and experienced in supervising associate therapists (psychological associate, AMFT, APCC, ACSW) in California.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience providing clinical supervision to associates.
  • Passion for innovation, evidence-based care, and mentorship.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Preferred: Based in San Diego, CA. Remote candidates within California are also encouraged to apply, as supervision sessions may be conducted in person or via Zoom for maximum flexibility.
