Position Overview

We are seeking a full-time Clinical Supervisor to support the continued growth and development of our clinical team.

This leadership role is ideal for a licensed California clinician who enjoys mentoring associates, strengthening systems, supporting quality care, and helping build a connected clinical culture.

The Clinical Supervisor will provide supervision to Associate Clinicians, support documentation and clinical metrics, collaborate with leadership, and maintain a reduced clinical caseload.

Over time, this role may also support hiring, recruiting, onboarding, and training initiatives in partnership with leadership.

Remote Work

This position is remote. Regular responsibilities including therapy sessions, supervision, meetings, and administrative duties are completed remotely.

There are occasional optional opportunities for in-person connection, including:

  • One annual in-person team/group supervision event each October
  • Optional holiday gatherings (up to two per year)
  • Optional community or professional networking/expo events as available

Attendance at in-person events is welcomed but not required.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide weekly individual and triadic supervision to Associate Clinicians
  • Support supervisee growth, confidence, ethics, and clinical skill development
  • Maintain a clinical caseload while balancing leadership duties (caseload starts at 21-20 scheduled and will decrease as number of associates you supervise grows).
  • Review documentation, compliance standards, and clinical quality metrics
  • Monitor utilization, retention, and scheduling outcomes
  • Provide designated office hours for staff support and consultation
  • Conduct monthly consultation meetings with licensed staff
  • Collaborate on quarterly trainings and clinical development initiatives
  • Partner with leadership on onboarding, recruiting, and future hiring support
  • Model professionalism, accountability, and strong communication
  • Complete notes, billing tasks, and assigned responsibilities in a timely manner

Clinical Caseload

  • Maintain a caseload of approximately 20-21 scheduled clients weekly
  • Average attended caseload expectations based on practice standards
  • Caseload may decrease as supervisory responsibilities increase
  • Protected administrative time is built into the role for leadership duties

Qualifications

  • Active California LMFT or LCSW license in good standing
  • Meets California supervision requirements for Associate Clinicians
  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
  • Authorized to work in the United States for any employer
  • Experience supervising clinicians or strong leadership interest
  • Active insurance credentialing with multiple panels preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality care
  • Comfortable using Zoom, Google Workspace, EHR systems, and remote technology platforms

Compensation & Benefits

  • $85,000–$95,000 annually depending on experience
  • Full-time W-2 employment
  • FLSA Exempt position
