In this role, you will be the vital bridge that reduces barriers to healthcare for local students, families, and school staff.

What You Will Do (Job Duties)

• Patient Advocacy: Help families navigate, enroll, and troubleshoot Medicaid, FAMIS, and commercial insurance plans.
• Clinic Operations: Manage student registration, intake, consents, and accurate data entry into our electronic health record system.
• Billing Coordination: Work closely with our internal billing team to resolve claim denials and eligibility discrepancies.
• Collaboration: Partner with school personnel, families, and our staff to ensure seamless continuity of care.
• Compliance: Maintain absolute confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and FERPA regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (Required).
• Strong communication skills and a passion for helping underserved communities.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Preferred Experience: Healthcare administration (billing, insurance verification, medical records), Medicaid/FAMIS enrollment, eClinicalWorks (EHR), or prior work in an FQHC/school clinic setting.

Physical Demands

• Light work (lifting up to 25 lbs occasionally).
• Regular standing, walking, and close visual acuity for computer work.
