Clinical Support Coordinator (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent) - Part Time

Position Summary: The Clinical Support Coordinator (Licensed) plays a central role in supporting the health, safety, and impact of mentoring relationships within Rogue Valley Mentoring’s 1:1 Match Program. Working in close partnership with the Match Program Director, this position provides trauma-sensitive case management, clinical-informed oversight of mentor-youth matches, and coordinated support for youth and families navigating complex challenges. The Clinical Support Coordinator will participate in the intake process of youth and volunteer mentors, and well as supporting the mentor-youth match pairing process. This role bridges relational mentoring and clinical awareness—ensuring that each match is supported with care, consistency, and appropriate responsiveness to mental health, behavioral, and systemic needs. The Clinical Support Coordinator also plays a key role in strengthening program quality, supporting mentors, coordinating care with partners, and ensuring strong documentation and evaluation aligned with grant requirements.

Match Support & Case Management (Primary Function)

Office Development

● Manage a caseload of mentor-youth matches with regular, proactive check-ins ● Build trusting relationships with youth, mentors, and caregivers

● Monitor match health, consistency, and engagement

● Identify emerging needs, risks, or barriers to match success

● Provide timely intervention, coaching, and support when challenges arise ● Support match sustainability and long-term relationship development

● Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough case documentation

Clinical-Informed Oversight & Support

● Bring a licensed clinical perspective to case management and program decisions ● Assess youth needs related to mental health, trauma, and safety (within scope)

● Support mentors in responding appropriately to complex youth needs

● Provide guidance on boundaries, mandated reporting, and ethical considerations ● Partner with the Match Program Director on higher-risk or complex cases

● Help identify when referrals to clinical or crisis services are needed

Youth & Family Engagement

● Participate in youth/family intake and onboarding processes

● Determine eligibility using program eligibility matrix

● Build strong, consistent relationships with caregivers

● Support youth voice, choice, and agency in match relationships

● Provide resource navigation and referrals for families

● Ensure services are culturally responsive, affirming, and accessible

Mentor Support & Coaching

● Participate in volunteer mentor approval and onboarding processes

● Serve as a primary support contact for mentors within assigned caseload

● Provide coaching grounded in trauma-sensitive and strength-based practices ● Review mentor logs and provide feedback and reflection

● Develop and facilitate trainings in partnership with Match Program Director

● Reinforce training concepts (boundaries, communication, identity-affirming care) ● Support mentors in navigating challenging situations with confidence

● Provide administrative support for program events

Care Coordination & Partnerships

● Collaborate with referring partners (schools, ODHS, healthcare providers, nonprofits) ● Participate in coordinated care efforts when appropriate

● Support warm handoffs and cross-system communication

● Help ensure youth receive integrated, wraparound support

Data, Documentation & Evaluation

● Maintain case files aligned with FERPA/HIPAA-adjacent standards

● Track key program metrics including match frequency, engagement, and outcomes ● Support CASEL-aligned assessment and survey processes

● Contribute to grant reporting and program evaluation when appropriate

● Maintain up-to-date records within the organization’s electronic database ● Ensure data is accurate, timely, and usable for continuous improvement

Program Quality & Implementation

● Support fidelity to RVM’s trauma-sensitive, culturally responsive mentoring model v ● Participate in team meetings, reflective practice, and program development

● Contribute to strengthening systems, workflows, and tools

● Support continuous improvement and learning across the program

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

● Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field

● Current or working toward Oregon licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent)

● 2+ years of experience working with youth and/or families

● Experience in case management, behavioral health, or community-based services ● Strong relational, communication, and organizational skills

● Ability to manage complex cases with professionalism and care

● Commitment to equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive practice

Hybrid:

● office, community-based, and some remote work

● Occasional travel throughout Jackson County for meetings, intakes, and check-ins ● Occasional evening availability to support mentors, families, and program events

Preferred:

● Bilingual (English/Spanish)

● Bicultural lived experience reflective of the community served

● Experience working with youth impacted by:

o Trauma

o Foster care

o Poverty or housing instability

o System involvement (ODHS, schools, behavioral health)

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
