Clinical Systems Coordinator - Home Health

Responsible for assisting with implementation and ongoing functions of the clinical software system. Responsible for initial and ongoing education support for staff.

1. Development and presentation of training classes and programs. Group and one on one education of all staff. Training will be in classrooms and in patients' homes as necessary.

2. Work closely with Administrator and Director of Patient Services to develop consistent practices and standards.

3. Analyze clerical and clinical processes for best practice.

4. Develop plan for transition from paper process to automation for clinical users.

5. Provide system support and day to day troubleshooting for clinical users.

6. Design and develop clinical application enhancements.

7. Assist with performance improvement activities to assure quality of current and newly developed programs including outcome measurement.

8. Work closely with Corporate IT department.

9. Keep abreast of all changes to the software system and work closely with the IT company.

10. May be required to do intermittent visits at times.

11. May be required to perform duties of other Clinical office staff at times.

Performs other work duties as assigned.

Employee is required to sit continuously and walk occasionally. Employee must lift/carry a light (1-20 lbs.) medium (21-50 lbs.) and heavy (50 lbs. +) load frequently. Employee may be required to lift over 100 lbs. with assistance. Employee is frequently required to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, climb, lift waist to overhead. Employee is occasionally required to reach forward and reach overhead. For repetitive action, employee is required to use both hands for simple grasping and pushing/pulling. Employee is occasionally exposed to electrical hazards and CRT terminal work.

Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current state license. Bachelor degree required.
