Position Overview

Skyterra Young Adult is seeking a compassionate, experienced, and dedicated Primary Therapist (Licensed) to join our team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive mental health services to young adults, supporting their emotional and psychological well-being through therapy, assessment, and case management. Salary Range and Work Schedule

$60,000.00 - $70,000.00 - Depending on experience

  • Full-time, on-campus presence (Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM flexible)
  • Part-time & prn available

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Leadership & Case Management

  • Provide individual and family therapy (at least two hours per week per client)
  • Facilitate up to three group therapy sessions weekly
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for families and referral sources
  • Develop and oversee personalized treatment plans with clear, achievable goals
  • Lead mindfulness and therapeutic activities, such as meditation and nature walks
  • Collaborate with staff on program development and training to enhance clinical offerings
  • Maintain thorough, timely clinical documentation
  • Participate in and facilitate weekly clinical team meetings.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Child & Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Experience working with young adults facing neurodivergence, ADHD, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma, and executive functioning challenges is preferred.
  • Experience with case management and group therapy is strongly preferred.

Licensure & Certifications

  • Active and good-standing license to provide mental healthcare in North Carolina (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent).
  • Maintain CEUs, ethical standards, and malpractice insurance.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
