CCCS is currently looking for a Treatment Supervisor for our NEXUS facility.
Mission: The Treatment Supervisor for NEXUS is responsible for providing direction and supervision for the overall delivery of the treatment services at the NEXUS Program a six to nine-month, intensive, cognitive-behavioral based addictions treatment community assisting Family Members (offenders) to develop those skills necessary to create pro-social change, reduce anti-social thinking, criminal behavior patterns, and the negative effects of methamphetamine addictions while integrating more fully into society.
Essential Functions:
1. As necessary, evaluates program content and determines appropriate programming needs.
2. Provides case management and individualized counseling as needed.
3. Assists in developing program content.
4. Develops, monitors, and maintains standards for individual and group programming.
5. Develops, monitors, and maintains standards for other classes related to programming
including CD, Anger Management, Criminal Thinking Errors and Cognitive Restructuring.
6. Develops and maintains standards for referrals to appropriate aftercare providers.
7. Conducts regular meetings with Treatment staff. Minutes of there meetings are forwarded
to the Program Administrator.
8. Provides quality assurance for programming based on contracts and program content.
9. Provides quality assurance audits on all documents, forms, and paperwork s determined by
appropriate personnel and the corporate policy, including but not limited to the following:
Ø Treatment Plans;
Ø Progress Notes;
Ø Discharge Summaries;
Ø After-Care Plans;
Ø Staffing Notes;
10. Assists Program Administrator screening process as necessary.
11. Reviews and approves all paperwork, including, but not limited to: Termination Reports,
Contracts, Monthly Progress Reports, Treatment Plans, Aftercare Referrals, Progress Notes,
Staffing Notes, etc.
12 .Conducts regular Treatment Meetings for Treatment Staff to ensure that peer review,
treatment review and contract review are conducted at each meeting. Reports of these
meetings are forwarded to the Program Administrator.
13. Meets with the Program Administrator regularly and providing reports as required.
14. Informs the Program Director of significant program developments including, but
not limited to:
A. Public relations problems;
B. Escapes;
C. Program revocations;
D. Jail placements;
E. Staff grievances/disciplinary actions;
F. Family member grievances;
G. Instances of assault or physical restraint involving residents and/or staff’;
H. Any resident involvement in the legal system;
I. Any threats or legal action by a resident toward BTC staff or any staff member;
J. Staff and resident fraternization;
K. Medical incidents regarding residents;
16. Chairs the safety committee ensuring monthly meetings are conducted and that the minutes of
such meetings are recorded and copies sent to the Program Administrator.
17. Conducts performance reviews on the Licensed Addictions Counselor, Case Manager,
Intake/Aftercare Coordinator, Mental Health Professional and Counselor Technician.
18. Provides Clinical Supervision to supervisees in accordance with facility procedures.
19. Conducts at least bi-weekly clinical staff meetings.
20. Disseminates clinically related literature to appropriate staff
21. Demonstrates knowledge & responsibility in performance of duties as prescribed by facility procedures. Has an understanding of the addiction process. Has a strong belief in change.
22. Understands and applies EBP in daily duties (reinforces, post monitoring, social learning theory and cognitive behavioral therapy.)
23. Ensures all clinical staff has a minimum of 40 hours of treatment related training.
24. Works well under pressure and maintains self-control.
25. Motivates and works well with residents.
26. Receptive to change and new ideas.
Other Job Functions:
All other duties as assigned by the Program Administrator.
Required Annual Training:
Employees new to CCCS, Inc. are required to complete at least forty (40) hours of training relevant to their position during the first year of employment.
The Treatment Supervisor is required to complete at least forty (40) hours of training during each year of employment. A minimum of thirty (30) hours must include training specific to the employment assignment.
Additional training hours may be required for disciplinary, emergency, or program-need reasons as determined by the Program Administrator.
Working Conditions:
Working conditions are inside in a climate-controlled environment with occasional background noise. Occasional travel may be required.
The Treatment Supervisor works five (5), eight (8)-hour shifts per week. Shifts will include afternoons and evenings. Occasional weekend work may be required. As the Treatment Supervisor of the program and as an exempt employee, it is recognized that the Treatment Supervisor will, at times, work long hours at various shifts.
Considerable documentation and paperwork requirements exist. The Treatment Supervisor must be able to organize and manage time effectively and keep records orderly and up to date.
Material and Equipment Used:
Computer; telephone; printer; fax machine; general office supplies.
Physical Activities Required to Perform Essential Functions:
Approximately 80% of time is spent seated while working at a desk or in meetings. Balance of time (approximately 20%) is spent standing or moving around working areas and outside locations.
: Clear diction and acute hearing are necessary with the public, contacts, and co-workers.
Corrected vision close to 20/20 is necessary for effective use of computer screens.
Good manual dexterity for computer keyboard use and the ability to retrieve and work with appropriate paperwork, equipment, and supplies.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

solving and analytical skills.

Minimum Qualifications:
1. A Masters degree in an appropriate Behavioral Science field and at least three (3) years of
experience working with adult offenders in a correctional facility.
2. Education or experience with Cognitive Restructuring (CR), Criminal Thinking Errors
(CTE), Licensed Addictions programs or other correctional programming.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience working with adult offenders in a residential corrections facility
2. Experience supervising staff
3. Demonstrated administrative and leadership abilities.
4. License as a mental health professional
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $34.00 - $44.00 per hour
