Education & Experience - master’s degree in counseling psychology or related field and licensed as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LBP, or LADC-MH licensure valid in the State of Oklahoma is required.

Proven skill and ability in the areas of treatment, prevention, assessment, diagnostics and consultation.
Ability to follow BHS guidelines and established Muscogee (Creek) Nation Department of Health (MCNDH) policies and procedures.
Ability to courteously and effectively communicate with patients and their families, MCNDH staff, outside agencies and the general public both orally and in writing.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
Ability to maintain a professional demeanor.
Knowledge of psychotherapeutic/behavioral intervention techniques.
Clinical understanding and experience utilizing a specialized modality of treatment with a specific patient population.
Certifications are not mandatory but are encouraged. Certifications signify knowledge learned but does not signify mastery.
The purpose of this position is to perform the duties of a Therapist and Human Services Professional for the Behavioral Health Services Program or Grant. Incumbent provides services within the designated service area of the Muscogee Creek Nation Department of Health.
The position requires demands of normal office work, possible travel between clinics driving a GSA, potentially high stress situations and conditions, and possible exposure to dangerous individuals.
Work is performed within the specified Health Care Clinics and other facilities operated by the MCNDH. Incumbent could be subjected to the risk of exposure to hostile and emotionally disturbed patients, families and visitors. There is moderate risk of exposure to contagious disease.
Satisfactory job performance will be determined by successful execution of the following:
Conducts individual family and group treatment, assessment, and referral when indicated as well as formulate treatment plans.
Monitors case records to ensure quality and professionalism in concert with the Treatment Coordinator. Maintains case records that are legible and completed in a timely manner (includes treatment plans and related signatures). This also includes the peer reviews and audits of client records.
Participates in the treatment review team and staffs all new and problematic cases as well as documents recommendations from weekly staffing meetings.
Completes all training required for licensure, State certification, accreditation, and the Muscogee Creek Nation Department of Health. Incumbent is responsible for ensuring all requirements met to maintain licensure in good standing.
Maintains a caseload of a minimum of 65 contacts per month on average.
Provides education or feedback to clinical and non-clinical employees with the goal to better serve our patient population.
Follows BHS, IHS, and MCNDH Policy and Procedures and guidelines.
Conducts self in a professional manner and maintains strict client confidentiality.
When applicable complies with all grant goals, objectives, procedures, assessment, screenings and/or timely reporting.
Regular and timely attendance is required.
Performs other duties as required.
