Closet Installer Helper

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Closet Installer Helper to join our dynamic installation team. In this role, you will assist experienced installers in the setup and assembly of custom closets, storage solutions, and cabinetry. Responsibilities

• Support lead installers in measuring, cutting, and assembling closet components according to project plans and schematics
• Assist with the safe handling and transportation of materials, tools, and equipment on-site
• Prepare work areas by cleaning and organizing tools, materials, and workspace before installation begins
• Use hand tools, power tools, and basic carpentry equipment to assist with framing, trim carpentry, and fixture installation
• Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment at all times
• Help with heavy lifting of cabinetry, shelving units, and other materials to ensure efficient workflow
• Collaborate with team members to complete installations on schedule while maintaining high quality standards

Requirements

• Prior experience or familiarity with construction sites or carpentry work is preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is essential
• Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and working at various heights
• Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and construction safety practices
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow schematics, blueprints, or instructions accurately
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and reliable work ethic
• Willingness to learn new skills such as blueprint reading, cabinetry fabrication, or drywall installation
• Valid driver’s license is a plus for transporting materials between job sites
