Clothing & Graphic Design Intern (Hybrid – Walnut Creek, CA)

Pay: $300–$600/month stipend

Schedule: In-person with 1 remote workday each week

This hybrid internship gives you hands-on experience shaping real apparel designs, collaborating with an experienced team, and building a portfolio that stands out in the fashion industry.

What You’ll Do

• Research and analyze current fashion, streetwear, color, fabric, and graphic design trends.
• Build visually dynamic trend reports and mood boards to guide upcoming collections.
• Sketch clothing concepts and silhouettes (digitally or by hand).
• Design graphic prints and apparel artwork inspired by trend insights and brand direction.
• Collaborate with mentors on creative direction, feedback, and product mockups.

Who You Are

• Passionate about fashion or graphic design and curious about the apparel industry.
• Skilled or learning to sketch clothing concepts and designs.
• Comfortable using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Procreate, or Canva.
• A strong visual thinker who enjoys exploring culture, fashion, and art through design.
• Organized, open to feedback, and excited to contribute new ideas.
